Sweat bee and self-heal, taken at Detroit International Wildlife Refuge Humbug Marsh Unit
So many things came together perfectly for this photo that I really can’t help but feel like I am showing off with it. I find insects much more difficult to photograph in motion than say birds or mammals. Then the color of the bee and the background and the flower all come together, not to mention the beautiful radial of the self-heal flower make this pic one I hope to get printed as soon as possible.
