I mean, this is simply one of the best photos I have ever taken. I noticed the swallows were going after the goose and duck down that was sitting on top of the water, and they really, really could not keep a hold of what they were trying to pick up. They would do this short hover and pick it up, fly away, drop it, try for it mid air, miss, swoop around and try again, just to pick it up from the pond again. Luckily this little barn swallow dropped this feather in just the right spot, came in at just the right angle, and here’s the result – perfect reflection.
